The SMOOTH consortium is organizing a series of webinars designed to help European micro enterprises comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The first webinar is entitled “Everything you need to know about SMOOTH and its platform” and will take place on the 26th of May 2020 from 12:00 until 13:00.
While the GDPR represents a solid step forward in the protection of the personal data of European citizens, it imposes serious compliance requirements on all types of businesses. Micro enterprises are disproportionately challenged due to their relative lack of resources and expertise. More than ever in times of COVID-19, micro and small enterprises are fighting to keep their businesses afloat and need easy to use and affordable tools to help them comply with the GDPR.
For the past 2 years SMOOTH partners have been developing a cloud-based platform that will allow companies to receive a GDPR compliance report in a simple, constructive and reliable format. The platform will be available for the second round of testing as from 1st of July 2020 to gather necessary feedback from beta-testers and improve its functionalities.
Four webinars will be organized every two weeks between the end of May and beginning of July 2020.
