If you were in Vienna last week you may have seen SMOOTH!
From December 4th to 6th the SMOOTH consortium participated in the ICT 2018 event. ICT2018 was organised by DG Connect and the Austrian presidency of the EU. This research and innovation fair focused on the European Union’s priorities in the digital transformation of society and industry.
A section of the fair was dedicated to Horizon 2020 projects and SMOOTH had the chance to be selected and have its own booth.
Partners from the consortium were present on site during the three days engaging with various stakeholders informing them on SMOOTH mission, status and opportunities.
It was a great opportunity for the project to interact with companies, stakeholders, universities, ministries. The consortium got great feedback from entrepreneurs and micro enterprises expressing their lack of understanding of the GDPR and confirming the need for such a platform.
